Event Schedule
The 40th Annual AIDS Walk New York will take place on Sunday, May 18, 2025 in Central Park at the Naumburg Bandshell located on the Mall near Bethesda Terrace.
- 8:00 AM: Star Walker Breakfast opens
- 8:30 AM: Sign-In Opens (only required for Walkers who have money to turn in and/or are picking up awards)
- 9:00 AM: Masala Bhangra dance warm-up
- 9:15 AM: Opening Ceremony
- 10:00 AM: AIDS Walk New York Begins
- 11:30 AM: Finish Line Festival and Paradise Garage Dance Party
- 12:30 PM: Vogue performance by House of Miyake Mugler
- 12:45 PM: Closing Ceremony Begins (Fundraising Total Announcement)

Transportation
Due to the 2025 Celebrate Israel Parade on May 18, 2025, please avoid entering Central Park from Fifth Avenue between 59th and 85th Streets.
The area will be extremely crowded and access will be restricted by the NYPD. We ask staff, volunteers, and attendees to use the following entry points instead. Arrive early to allow extra time for accessing the Park and getting to the AIDS Walk New York venue at the Naumburg Bandshell located on the Mall near Bethesda Terrace.
RECOMMENDED ENTRY POINTS
- West Side Access (Central Park West)
- All West Side entrances from West 59th Street Central Park South) to West 110th Street (Central Park North).
- West 72nd Street and Central Park West is the entrance closest to the AIDS Walk New York Venue at Naumburg Bandshell.
- North Side Access (Above 74th Street)
- All North Side entrances along Central Park North
- East Side Access (Fifth Ave.)
- All entrances from East 97th and above
- South Side Access
- Avoid all entrances along Central Park South except for Columbus Circle (intersection of Central Park West and Central Park South/West 59th Street)
Early Sign-In
Turn in cash or checks and collect your fundraising awards ahead of time! Early Sign-In is available at GMHC (307 W 38 Street, 4th Floor, New York, New York 10018) on Tuesday, May 13 and Wednesday, May 14.
