Event Schedule
The 41st Annual AIDS Walk New York will take place on Sunday, May 17, 2026 in Central Park at the Naumburg Bandshell located on the Mall, off 72nd Street Transverse, across from Bethesda Terrace.
- 8:00 AM: Star Walker Breakfast, Awards & Donation tents open. (Note: The Awards & Donation tents are only requires for Walkers who have money to turn in and/or picking up awards)
- 8:50 AM: Steps on Broadway Conservatory performance in front of bandshell
- 9:00 AM: Masala Bhangra dance warm-up
- 9:15 AM: Opening Ceremony
- 10:00 AM: AIDS Walk New York Begins
- 11:30 AM: Finish Line Festival and Paradise Garage Dance Party
- 12:30 PM: Vogue performance by House of Miyake Mugler
- 12:45 PM: Closing Ceremony Begins (Fundraising Total Announcement)
Transportation
AIDS Walk New York takes place in Central Park. We recommend using public transportation on event day.
Subway
- West Side: B, C to 72nd Street & Central Park West; 1, 2, 3 to 72nd Street & Broadway
- East Side: 6 to 77th Street & Lexington Avenue, then walk west to 79th Street & Fifth Avenue
Bus
- West Side: M10 on Central Park West; M7 and M20 on Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues; M104 on Broadway
- East Side: M1, M2, M3, M4, M106 on Fifth and Madison Avenues
RECOMMENDED ENTRY POINTS
- East Side Access (Fifth Ave.)
- East 72nd Street and Central Park West is the entrance closest to the venue at Naumburg Bandshell.
- West Side Access (Central Park West)
- All West Side entrances from West 59th Street Central Park South) to West 110th Street (Central Park North).
- North Side Access (Above 74th Street)
- All North Side entrances along Central Park North
- South Side Access
- Avoid all entrances along Central Park South except for Columbus Circle (intersection of Central Park West and Central Park South/West 59th Street)
Early Sign-In
Turn in cash or checks and collect your fundraising awards ahead of time! Early Sign-In is available at GMHC (307 W 38 Street, 4th Floor, New York, New York 10018) on Monday, May 11 and Tuesday, May 12.
